We were delighted to get our flower beds ready for action yesterday adding compost to the lovely beds that were kindly donated by our parents. We look forward to planting seeds soon and tending the plants as they grow in the coming months. Many thanks to the PTP Green Committee for helping us to organise this lovely space.
Ms Parkinson's Senior Infants Class won the Attendance Award for the second week running. Ms D'Arcy's First Class won the Punctuality Award. 2 Students from each class were awarded Pupil of the Week. Well Done to all.
Today, to celebrate Poetry Day, parents visited the classrooms and read poems to the boys and girls.
Everyone really enjoyed the poems.

We were back on the grass at break-time today thanks to the beautiful weather.
Well done to Ms. Hunt's Junior Infants who scooped both the awards this week for Attendance and Punctuality. 2 Students from each class were awarded the Worker of the Week award.
This week Ms D'Arcy's First Class won Attendance Award and Ms Campbells Junior Infant Class Punctuality Award.
Students also received Attendance Certificates for Spring Term.
We were very proud of all of our children and parents for winning the overall award at the Greystones St. Patrick's Day Parade. A keenly contested title, this win was testament to the huge efforts of our children, teachers and especially our parents. This is another of example of the excellent work of our Parent Teacher Partnership who led this entire endeavour - with huge thanks going to the Arts Committee for what was a massive effort. Seachtain na Gaeilge / World Book Day 12th-16th March 2018
We have had a very busy week. All the school celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge this week. On Wedneday the children all wore green to school and each class also had a céili.
Friday 16th March we celebrated World Book Day. The children arrived to school dressed as their favourite characters from books. We had lots of Where's Wally, Harry Potter, Mathilde's, Princesses and many more. Big thank you to all the parents who helped create the costumes.
A group of parents also came in to read stories to each class. The children and teachers really enjoyed this. Big thank you to all who helped out on the day.
